We choice this cruise because we had previously done a Viking River Cruise and we wanted to see the Baltic countries.Of the 13 cruises we have been on since 2006 this was far and away the best cruise ever. The food was outstanding. The shore excursions were exceptional with very high quality guides. We loved the extra large bathrooms with heated floors and heated, fog free mirrors and a large shower. There were excellent lectures on board. The entertainment was exceptional. There were no ship's photographers, so no cameras in our faces every time we turned around. And no boring BINGO.

And to top it off Viking had just hired Heather Clancy away from another cruise line as their new Cruise Director. Heather was far and away the best Cruise Director we have ever had.

There is a treason why Viking Cruise Line was selected the best in the world for 2016!
