We love the service and attention to detail we get from Viking. They make everything so effortless. From the pick-up at the airport and embarkation on the boat to the disembarkation from the boat and return to the airport for our flight home, everything is well organized and runs smoothly. The staff on board the ship was warm and friendly and always willing to satisfy whatever need we had.
The food on board was excellent. We enjoyed cooked-to-order breakfasts every morning and enjoyed the buffet lunches served on the top deck (as opposed to the dining room) for lunch. We loved the casual atmosphere up there. Dinner was also excellent with a nice selection of foods to choose from. The wait staff was very attentive and we love that when Viking says "free wine and beer with lunch and dinner" they do not skimp. When the wait staff sees that your class is almost empty they are there immediately to offer more. Love Viking!!

It was very sobering to see some of these sites where the Nazi's had such a stronghold during WWII. Let us never forget!
Regensburg
We did an optional BWM plant tour that was extremely interesting. Maybe we were cathedral-ed and palace-ed out. But the BMW tour was nothing short of amazing. I just wish I could have remembered everything the tour guide (a BMW employee) told us because it was all so fascinating. I highly recommend this tour!
Wurzburg
We did an optional Rothenburg ob der Tauber tour in this port. It was an excellent tour. I loved walking through the streets of this beautiful medieval town, enjoyed lunch in a local pub and walked along the city wall. They also gave us adequate time to shop, especially in the huge Christmas shop!
