The accommodations, we were in room 217, were larger than we expected. the food was gourmet every meal. much better than what we are used to here in the USA. the guided tours were all top notch and are included in the cruise. we took two optional tours and they were worth the money, especially the Palace of Versailles. the thing we enjoyed the most was the service and attention we received from the Viking staff. we stayed in Paris, (pre and post cruise extension) and had a fantastic time. stayed at the Hotel Ampere, a very good choice. the transportation to and from the hotel, ship and airport were on time and excellent. the service we received on board the ship was one of the best parts of the trip. our server, Hugo (From Portugal) was outstanding. we are going on another Viking cruise next year and cant wait.
