We chose this cruise because of the ports. It was fun and food was great. I was frustrated with Carnival charging $17 per person to ride a shuttle from port in MArseille. They warned us of crooks there - Carnival was the biggest. Same with other ports - CItavichia and Palma de Mallorca. We walked to Mayor beach, but it was red flagged due to pollution. Got in a cab to go to a different beach and it started pouring rain. Paid the driver to return us - $40 for nothing. To go to Pisa it was cheaper to take a cab.

LOved the cruise director Jaime. SPa was the normal rip off. The water slides, bikes in air and ropes course was all fun. No academic classes like photography or computers offered like on Holland America. The singers - dancers and musical entertainment were all great - especially the piano bar and several guitar players and violins. Outdoor movies were fun as was Imax and Thrill theater. Getting on and off was easy.

We took a great tour through italytours.eu in Naples - Pompeii, sorrento and amalfi coast. Way cheaper than carnival tours and we had 12 people with a great driver.
