We wanted to see the northern fall colors along the Mississippi River. Even though the cruise itinerary was changed due to weather conditions, the modified excursion was relaxing and very enjoyable. The wait staff in the dining room, Ky and Cornel, were fabulous. The stay in port the night before the cruise was helpful to get ready for a great cruise and a way to experience the culture of the departing port. We felt as though we were cruising with Mark Twain with all the memorabilia on board! All the staff on the ship were exceptional and friendly. Any problem we had with keys, tours, etc were taken care of immediately by the staff. We couldn't ask for a better experience in cruising. I am planning to book the Columbia River cruise and hope it is equal or better than the Mississippi Queen experience.
