We purchased a cruise/land package through Groupon for our trip. The cruise was 1 night to the Bahamas, 2 nights on the island at a hotel and 1 more night on the ship returning to Florida. We had a very nice time on the ship. There were a couple things that were not right and I'll explain. The temperature on the ship, in any inside area, was freezing cold. I mean, it was about 62 degrees indoors and near 90 outside. You could not be comfortable no matter where you went. Even the staff was complaining about the cold. Many passengers didn't have jackets due to the heat at the time of year. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. They went out of their way to make us comfortable and show us a good time. The entertainment was great, the food was also very good with many choices. The hard part was the luggage issue. You were only on the ship one night so you couldn't unpack because you had to take all your belongings with you in the a.m. when you disembarked the ship in the Bahamas. The ship was very clean and in good repair. The stateroom was clean and comfortable except for the cold temperature. The hotel (Grand Lucayan was miserable. I do not recommend staying there if visiting the Bahamas.

Cabin Review

Cabin unknown

Cabin was comfortable. King bed was good and pillows were perfect. Temp in room was very cold and even turning it down didn't do much. Cabin was very clean. Needed some artwork on the cabin walls. It was drab and too plain.

Port Reviews

Palm Beach

I can only review the port because I didn't take any shore excursions. We were greeted at the port by a parking valet who wanted $72 for a parking fee. It was about $18 per day during our trip. They don't accept credit cards, only cash. It nearly cleaned me out of cash. I was not impressed by that. They need to take cards. I don't carry much cash with me ever.
