I chose this cruise because a group was going from my community and I wanted to see Norway, Iceland and the other ports. We signed up for a tour of Copenhagen at the start of the trip. However, our guide did not show up and although the driver was available, he could not narrate adequately. Trip was cut short and cancelled. Embarkation went smoothly. Disembarkation was strange. We were taken to the airport and then stood in a very long line, waiting 30 minutes of more to get our luggag e. The cabin was fine, with a nice bathroom, shower was adequate size, keeping the water where it belonged. Staff was friendly and helpful throughout the ship. There was not enough casual seating, especially when weather deteriorated and it was not desirable to be outside. Lots of people ended up sitting in the dining area of the cafeteria as there were few other places to go to sit. Could use a nice lounge, larger library and game area. Could use more informational sessions, especially as we visited 6 different countries. An intro session for each country would have been nice. Too much resource spent on silly games. Entertainment in the main theater was too loud, with announcers and singers screaming into microphones at high volume. If you have a good mic, you don't need to scream. Trip and excursions were pricey, with high service fee at the end. Food was generally good, but not outstanding. Additional charges for better meals in main dining room and in specialty dining rooms.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Oceanview Picture Window
Cabin OB
Space and storage was adequate. Bathroom was sized as expected but nice layout with good size walk-in shower. Clean and well maintained. Bed was hard. Comforter was too warm. Lighter blanket would be better.
