This was the fifth cruise we have taken but our first with Princess. We booked a four night cruise on the Ruby Princess to Santa Barbara and Ensenada, Mexico. All together it was my wife and I and our two sons, ages 6 and 8.

My two sons wanted to check out the kids club but the rules did not allow the two different age groups to mingle. The two age groups that my sons would be involved with went from 3-7 and 8-12.

My two sons did not want to be separated and wanted to be in the same group but the attendant said it was not allowed. So they chose not to go in and check it out.

Balcony

Cabin BB

We were in a stateroom with a balcony. The balcony adds so much more enjoyment for us. There is nothing like waking up and stepping outside onto your balcony so that you can take in the ocean view.

The cabin had a TV which played old Love Boat episodes. I thought that was a nice touch. There is also a channel that shows fairly current children's movies.

Our bed was extremely comfortable and allowed all of us to sleep very well.

The bathroom although tiny really served its purpose. The shower may not be the biggest but it was all we needed.

Our room was kept clean and fresh by our steward who did an amazing job. Our cabin was great. We have no complaints about it whatsoever.

Issue free. Getting on and off the ship was a breeze.
