Great cruise. We had large balcony cabin. Was always clean. Food was good. Can order whatever and as much as you want. Nightly entertainment was excellent. East meets West restaurant is a must. Need to make reservation as soon as on ship cause it fills up. Don't really need a shore excursion in Kona if you just want to shop, eat, and walk around. Small beach is there also. We stayed two nights before the cruise in Honolulu. Embarkation went smoothly as did leaving the ship. We took the road to Hana excursion. Booked Valley Isle excursions as was less expensive than what was offered through Norwegian. We were very pleased. I know a lot of people rent a car and drive on their own. The driver has to keep their eyes on a very narrow, winding and unfamiliar road. Keep this in mind if you want to drive yourself. We booked other excursions through Norwegian. Atlantis sub second day in Mauai was OK. Liahaina is shopping. Volcanoes national park and Lava tube in Hilo. Beach day in Kona. Should have done beach day in Mauai and Atlantis sub in Kona. Too late now. Kona beach you need water shoes as rocky. Beautiful to look at though. Best part was on Kauai. Kayaked and hiked to waterfall one day and horseback riding the next. Cruise should be two days longer.
Was large enough. On starboard side. Was able to see ports while pulling into them.
Lunch was included. Saw turtles
Beautiful beach but very rocky. Lava fields around it. Place has free beach chairs but only four cabanas available for rent ($50). No shade except a few palm trees. They sell and not rent umbrellas. So how are you supposed to take back on plane?
