We started on the trip on the Jarl river boat because there was a problem with a river lock that kept our original boat the Alta from making it to our starting point. We were not happy to learn after day two that we would have to change ships part way through our river cruise.

NO PROBLEM Viking did everything in there power to make it as easy a switch as they could. The problem was beyond their control. We found the food to be very good, the staff to be very accommodating, the tours to be excellent. The program director was very informative about the different cities we visited and Organization was top notch.

I thought this would be somewhat laid back on a river cruise, but we kept very busy pretty much of the time.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Stateroom

Cabin E

Cabin was an ok size, cleaned every day. We had no issues with the size. The tv had a variety of movies, however Internet was not as good as home.
