The Grand is the oldest of the Grand class Princess ships being built in 1999 and it’s in great shape! Most everything was clean and shiny. The only area that looks worn is on the top deck where the Astroturf is coming up a little at the edges.

My Cabin

I had an inside cabin, B612 and it was clean and well maintained. It was a "guarantee" cabin, the least expensive they had, I booked late and it wasn't cheap. I have found some Mexican 10 day cruises on the Grand for 1/3 the price. The cabin had 2 problems which is (I think) why they gave it to us, one is that the air conditioning system was somehow hooked up to the kitchen exhaust because every evening it smelled like someone was cooking a steak in out cabin and two, there was a lot of noise almost every night, banging and water rushing through pipes.
