Cabin: Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Chose this cruise because we have been on this ship twice before. Western Med ( Spain and Portugal). 19th Sept - 2nd Oct 2016.

Standards have slipped and prices have risen. A glass of wine was 10 -12 dollars each. A bottle of water was $5. 18% tax added onto all drinks. The cost of tours from the ship were outrageously expensive. They now charge £5 to £10 for shuttle busses from ship into town. Which they never used to do. We found that we got virtually the same tours on the RED open top busses at a quarter or less of the organised RC ttours. .

Our cabin was 7550. No bath, but a very adequate shower. Lovely balcony. Very quiet but towards the front of the ship and a very very long way from the restaurants. Our bathroom had nothing but towels for the first 3 days. No shampoos, tissues, face flannels, shower gel, conditioner or shower gel for first three days. Had to keep begging for anything we wanted.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E3

Adequate cabin with an excellent balcony. Shower, no bath, but the shower was lovely. Bed about 6 feet wide so no problem if your partner snores. Very very comfortable. Kettle, coffee and tea facilities.

Port Reviews

Gibraltar

Too far to walk into town. Hugely long queue for taxis. One elderly man collapsed because of the long stand and the heat. Took 45 mins for help to arrive.

Cartagena (Spain)

Took a red open top bus trip at fraction of cost of cruise tour.

Barcelona

2 hour very interesting tour with added sun tan.

Malaga

Surprise at what a superb city it is. Took shuttle bus and walked around the centre. 2 beers cost 4 euros.

Lisbon

Wonderful Red Bus trip.
