Scheduling was a big factor. This was a last minute trip with a friend and this trip was one of few that was available.

We missed our first two port of calls because of a hurricane. Not Carnival's fault but disappointing for us because we missed our sport fishing trip in Mazatlan. The zip line adventure in Puerto Vallarta was fun and physical. We did hit Cabo on the way back to Long Beach for a brief time.

My last cruise was an Alaskan Cruise with Norwegian. Norwegian had more and better onboard restaurants, more shipboard activities, and much better entertainment. We had a bigger variety of onshore excursions on our Alaskan Cruise with Norwegian.

The cabin was excellent. I loved the balcony, it was a good place to relax and unwind.
