We had a fabulous s trip, it was the best cruise we have been on, the locations we saw and the beautiful ship and the very professional staff the whole thing was superb. We arrived at Stockholm to be greeted by smartly dressed Viking staff tunnelling us to baggage collection where they assisted us with our luggage and then guided us in small groups to the awaiting coaches. At the ship the processing of paperwork etc went like clockwork due to efficient staff, once on board we were greeted to a glass of champagne and escorted to our cabins. The embarkation was even better. Cases were labelled with coloured labels and collected the night before. On departure at designated times we were guided our colour collection area with staff assistance our cases were then taken to the coach. This process was for everyone and it made me feel like a VIP.

The Nordic decor throughout the ship is lovely with modern luxury fabrics and leather furniture with historical displays of Viking artefacts and pictures. The attention to detail made it feel personal. Live music was played by a selection of musicians in different locations during the day and in the evenings it was of a high quality, not too loud or obtrusive.

The whole boat was spotless, staff were constantly cleaning and every time we docked they washed the outside. Our cabin stewed washed our balcony glass and French doors every day. Read more
