My wife and i used CC to do a lot of research and chose the Celebrity Reflection/East Med cruise. We're also used to an element of luxury on our hols so opted for one of the Signature Suites, therefore this review might not be relevant for some as we didn't use the MDR or Opus, or even the pool for that matter.

However, what we did experience was fantastic and the perks you get with this level of suite made us feel like royalty, the suite was also beautiful with a nice size of balcony. Although we did visit friends in the Penthouse and that was unbelievable spacious and opulent! We also enjoyed great room service, laundry, wifi (not very fast though) and free spirits plus mini bar. The bed was fantastic as was the storage and practical aspects of the room, easily on par with 5-star hotels we've stayed at.

We dined with the Captain (what a dude!) on the second night in the Tuscan Grille and we enjoyed a steak of peerless quality. We loved Murano, but the menu is small and does not change, unlike Luminae, however that could be hit or miss. Qsine was a bit of a fad but enjoyable. The service was excellent in all cases. We did sometimes have breakfast in the Ocean View cafe, which was fine. The only meal experience we really didn't enjoy was the Lawn BBQ that was 'pushed' onto us as we left the check-in area; what a waste of 140USD that was, with average food / wine and it was also blowing a gale through the gaps in the screens, so everyone was miserable. We felt such fools giving up a speciality restaurant that was effectively free for us for this rubbish. So even though we had a full package we still ended up as a victim of pushy sales :(

Cabin SG

Superb, on-par with 5-star hotels we've stayed at. Even the corridor leading from the private access door is luxurious and made us feel special. The location of the room on the 14 level was fine, although some people might not enjoy the movement of the ship being higher up.
