This was our first ever cruise and what a fantastic pleasure it was. The way we were looked after from the point of landing in Rome, bus to embarkation in Civitavecchia,all shore disembarkations and embarkations right the way through to returning to airport to go home was just magic, our stateroom cabin was very comfortable and very nice to be able to sit out on the balcony relaxing and very well serviced daily(clean towels,cleaning,bed making etc). We went to the theatre every night early session mainly (good to be able to have a choice) excellent entertainment and then ate later one of the several resteraunts. Dining was excellent in whichever one you were in with a varied selection for whatever taste and good,fast service.The ship itself was awesome and immaculately presented and an impressive credit to its crew and company. We used the indoor pool quite often, plenty of loungers,towels etc. We did not use any of the shore excursions off the ship because we thought as did a lot of other passengers that they were expensive but we are sure we want to book again in future.
