Cabin: Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

This was our 8th cruise on Royal and the first on the Freedom. It's big but there are enough venues available that it did not seem as crowded as some of the smaller ships. The rooms were well maintained and very clean. Our cabin attendent Joy was very good. Our balcony was the largest we have had. Overall the service was good and the crew was friendly and knowledgable. Bar service on the pool deck was excellent. The evening shows were average or better. Dining was above average in the Main dining room and below average in the Windjammer. Breakfast omlets were a disaster with only one station taking orders. Only ONE ice cream machine for 3500 passengers. Lines were always long. The movie screen in the theater was very bad. We tried to watch Star Wars in 3D but the screen was not a movie screen it was a theater curtian and not suitable for movies. In spite of te few negatives it was a good cruise and we are already booked on RCCL in April.
