We are a retired couple and this was our first cruise. We chose this one in particular because it was roundtrip from Boston and the ports were of interest to us. We had two days to tour Boston on our own before boarding the ship. Our cabin was ready by 1:00pm and it was kept in immaculate condition throughout our stay. We were impressed with how the clean the entire ship was kept. We were pleased with the quality of the food served on board but felt the food variety and service were definitely lacking. We don't get up early or stay up late so missed the entertainment and activities during those times. We purchased two excursions (Bar Harbor and Halifax) through RC and both ended up being cancelled. We had issues with the medical facility on the ship and would suggest avoiding a visit there unless it's a dire emergency. Communication was very poor during disembarkation. Overall we were very disappointed with service and communication and we don't plan on cruising again!
