I chose this cruise because of the itinerary, and I enjoy the Celebrity line. This was our 3rd Celebrity cruise and we went with friends.

We booked the pre-cruise package giving us 3 nights in Rome before boarding the ship. The pick-up from the hotel was a bit hectic only because we weren't sure where the Celebrity rep would be located amongst the hundreds of people. Then we had to lug our own luggage a fair distance and get it loaded onto our van. The hotel was nice, our room a bit small and dark. But we were there to explore the city, not stay in our room. The Celebrity tours in Rome were good, not great. The meals provided on the tours were good. We loved our tour guide. Rome is a very crowded city and it was quite hot and humid. There were long lines at each attraction. Needless to say, we are glad we visited this city, but probably wouldn't return.

The transfer to the ship was wonderful and check in was quick.

Cabin C2

Nice, quite cabin, not too far from the elevators and stairs. Very near the Card Room. Good storage.
