Sail Date: Sep 2016
Cabin: Balcony

Alaska is the star of any cruise, no matter what happens, and we loved our time on (and off) the Norwegian Sun.

ROOM: Spacious and clean, with a large balcony. The bed was very comfortable and our room steward was conscientious. Towel animals were charming.

Cabin Review

Cabin BD

Accessible cabin was spacious and well designed. We booked it for the hearing impaired features, expecting to have adequate access to captioning of announcements/CCTV programming. Instead we got an alarm clock that went off like a bomb at midnight, shaking the entire room and putting us into a panic, a strobe light that went berserk every time somebody opened the stateroom door, and a pager that ONLY captioned emergency announcements. Grr. We disabled all the helpful devices. Loved the room, but don't feel justified in taking an accessible room from somebody who really needs it.
