We choose Vela because of the unique sailing experience, small number of guests and interesting destinations. Our Captain was extremely knowledgable,experienced and cool!! He truly loves the ships and enjoys what he does. He went out of his way to ensure all guests had and excellent time. The crew was amazing as well, we all became fast friends. They work hard, always smiling and know the guests by name. The chef and cook did an excellent job with very delicious meals. The Islands we visited were fantastic, beautiful and no big cruise ships. We snorkeled a lot, relaxed, hiked with the Captain leading the way,drank beer, Vela Coladas, and rum punch provided by our excellent staff!!

It was truly an amazing time. The perfect way to relax and enjoy the beautiful sea and Islands on a wonderful ship.

We would definitely go again and recommend it to anyone, even if you travel alone. They accommodate single travelers too.
