We just got back from a fun week exploring the islands. The cruise was good but things could have been better in several areas resulting in the average grade we gave.
Embarkation was one of the smoothest we have found. We dropped off our Enterprise rent a car just a block away and they drove us to the pier. We got to the pier about noon and were on the ship in about 30 minutes. No lines at all.
We had a cruise critic meet and greet set up at 5 pm on embarkation day that did not go so well. The NCL person responsible for it did not realize it was for a cruise critic meet and greet and did not have anything set up. We waited awhile and then she brought in a plate of cookies and water for us. Seemed awful skimpy to us. She was able to round up a few f the officers who introduced themselves to us and said to feel free to contact them should we have any problems or suggestions.
We were in cabin 10562 which was a balcony. As other reviews say the tenth floor balconies have a overhang from the pool deck above. we actually liked this as it gave us total privacy while on the balcony. We were on the port side so got a great view of the Napali coast on Friday afternoon. Could easily hear the narration on the TV when we turned up the sound and pointed it towards the balcony. Plenty of storage for the two of us. Bed was comfortable.
