We found this cruise while looking for a trip during the time the golf course my husband works for was closed for repairs. This cruise was the right week at the right price, and all inclusive. I really like the freestyle dining aspect- eat when you want, stay casual, or choose a fancier sit-down restaurant. We loved the BBQ at the pool every day, the shows and games were fun, and the ship was so clean. I would hesitate to travel via Carnival because their travellers seem to get sick frequently. Norwegian was very careful, with hand-washing stations and employees spraying guests' hands as they entered restaurants.
Freeport seemed to have less activities available, but Pat and Diane's snorkeling was so much fun! Lunch at Rum Runners was also fun.
Nassau was more walkable from the ship, but we were mainly interested in seeing how we liked cruising, since this was our first time. The answer is, we loved it! Having a balcony clinched the deal, but cruising is relaxing, fattening, and just wonderful.
Cabin was great! Of course, cabins are a little small, which is to be expected, but there was plenty of room to store clothes, suitcases, cosmetics. The room was super clean, our steward was always nearby. He made us 2 swans out of towels, with balloons on our anniversary. Loved having a balcony.
Pat and Diane snorkeling was terrific! Great fish, wonderful crew. Lunch at Rum Runners was delicious. Love conch!
