Cabin: Interior with Picture Window (obstructed views)
We do a Family and Friends Cruise 19 people in our group every 2-3 years, and we just returned from a New England & Canada Fall Cruise on carnival Sunshine Sept 10-17/16.
Sat-We flew into LaGuardia and took a Carnival Transfer bus to Port of Manhattan. Having FTTF we were able to go thru the Embarkation fairly quickly and on board by a little after 11am. Went to our room to drop off luggage, unpack & back out to get pics and Lunch (Guys Burgers & Fries Awesome) w/Family. Sail away was beautiful past the Statue of Liberty and under the Bridge off we go. Dinner in the Sunset Dinning room was always Yummy. Loved our Wait staff (Eric,Nim & Raymundo they remembered our favorite drinks, food preferences and put up w/19 people teasing them, they were Awesome.)
Sun-At Sea- 9:30am Catchin' some Rays on the Serenity pool deck, until Lunch time.

Our Room 7101 FWD, was cleaned twice a day, we had no problems and our Steward was Wonderful.
Port Reviews
Boston
We went out of the Terminal and there were buses you could catch a ride to the Market for $16. so we did. walked around Faneuil Hall (soo Interesting), Quincy Mkt & Cheers Bar (Fun shopping). Caught bus back to the ship.
Portland (Maine)
Picked up a Trolley tour outside of the Terminal took us on a narrated tour around town and then to Portland Lighthouse. Where we had about 40 min to walk around and take pics, it is a Beautiful Lighthouse. Great tour $24each
