We've been on this itinerary on another cruise line (10 years ago), so we knew we'd love the scenery. Plus, because we live in Seattle, it was super convenient to just walk on & off the ship (no hassle of travel, extra nights at hotels, etc.). We've taken about 6 cruises, total, now, on 4 different lines. We give this a solid "good" with some surprising bonuses and some things that could have been better.
Overall - The vibe is casual (much like Seattle), with plenty of polar fleece and jeans and not a lot of ties at dinner.
Cabin- we had one of the cheapest rooms, inside & midship. This helped my issues withr seasickness immensely! There are rough seas in the Pacific this time of year and I slept like a log! Very comfortable beds and well organized, if small, room. We are two medium-sized adults who don't like to pack light--we dress up for dinner, use the spa, and carry computers and other devices we don't care to live with out. Plenty of room for storing all of that, although we do carry super strong magnetic hooks, which add places to hang a purse and coats to grab easily. We were on the 10 floor and away (but not far) from the elevator. Very quiet and easy to get places. The room was super clean, too, and well kept by our steward.

This is an amazing sight! And, the park rangers board the sihp to provide all sorts of information about the bay and the glaciers. Otherwise, NCL does very little to tell cruisers about ports and scenery, even something as spectacular as Majorie Glacier.
