View of a town in Cinque Terre.
Delicious dinner. Monk fish wrapped in bacon and scallops. The Verandah Restaurant.

We were only on it for the last 7 days. Rome, Corsica, Livorno, Monte Carlo, Barcelona.

We chose the Queen's Grill, category 6 (I say the worst house in the best neighborhood). Our cabin was at the back of the ship. A place that I love. We can watch the sea turn aqua and foamy as we leave. The deck was tremendous. It was bigger than my wife's first cabin when she sailed so many years ago. The cabin was spacious and the closet space was unbelievable.

From the time we embarked through disembarkation it was, though not perfect, pretty darn close. We had a couple of problems.First, I found the bed too hard. We told the stateroom attendant and they put a mattress top on and that was perfect. Second, the shower/bath tub combo. The shower head was too low for me, I am 6'2". We said something and they installed a hand held shower head, but they did not have the piece to hold it in place. So that would not work, so we had them change it back. All of this was done immediately.

Queens Suite

Cabin Q6

Roomy and lots of closet space, Bed was too hard, but was corrected. Shower head is too low for me at 6'2". Needs a hand held with a holder. The shower stall is too small to make room for the full size Jacuzzi tub. I had to wet myself in the shower but step out into the tub to lather up. That was the best way to do it.

The view is spectacular. The back of the ship is my favorite.
