This was our first cruise (couple 59 /63 )seemed to be a good value for money cruise but we were a little disappointed, cabin on deck 8 was ok but a bit small and lacking in clothes storage space, staff worked very hard to keep the ship clean but it is showing its age, paintwork in poor condition and rust streaks on some of the lounge picture windows, understand ship is dry docking in november so this may be sorted for next year Entertainment was pretty good, the entertainment team worked very hard .lack of a bulbous bow means that this ship is inclined to pitch as well as roll in anything of a blow. The excursions were ok but a bit expensive. The biggest disappointment was the poor quality of the food ,in the self service restaurants the food was often a bit cool and needed to be eaten quickly and seemed to be a bit monotonous. In the waiter service restaurants the food was of indifferent quality and small portions it was not even of pub grub standard let alone restaurant quality, the fish was especially poor very small Mediterranean fish that should have been left in the sea for a couple more years to grow up .spent extra one night on a steak and found that the steak knife wouldnt even cut it.The small a la carte bistro (cover charge) had the same menu posted up every day we did not fancy what was on the menu and since it stayed the same all week we didnt bother going in there.Whilst the beer was a reasonable price i consider £4-10 to be a bit exorbitant for a 25ml shot of ordinary whisky.Overall we quite enjoyed our cruise and may well cruise again but not on this ship! Thomson needs to look urgently at the catering on this ship.

Cabin Review

Cabin standard

beds very comfortable but cabin a bit small and not enough clothes storage space, air conditioning seemed to be a bit noisy at times and could not of course be turned off.limited view due to lifeboat (brochure did warn us )
