Sail Date: Sep 2016
Cabin: Superior Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

I had booked The Navigator of the Seas (NotS) cruise 18 months before the sail date and reserved the ‘my time dining’ well in advance.

About 4 weeks before departure on checking my booking with RCCL online I was shocked to see that RCCL had deleted (I think a computer glitch) all my dining reservations and also a paid up excursion. The excursion got reinstated but not the dining reservations and all that RCCL customer services would say is that there is nothing they can do!. This is appalling customer services practice and when we got on board many other passengers were experiencing similar problems, so beware!

Embarkation went smoothly and we got on board nearly 30 minutes early. Once on board we were able to resolve the dining reservations relatively quickly but once we had finished there was a lengthy queue waiting to correct/amend reservations and all this was before 11.00am. I suspect many of those passengers boarding later were disappointed at not being able to change or reinstate their dining reservations.

Cabin Review

Superior Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D2

Cabin had good sized balcony and also good position within ship.

All aspects of the cabin were comfortable with plenty of storage, Shower had sliding doors.

Poor choice of TV channels as it was very difficult to get any news.

Steward kept cabin clean with good towel 'animals' - nice touch.

Bed not turned down in the evening and no little chocolates - the little touches are missing.
