Second time on Norwegian Sky so knew what to expect. Enjoyed our 2nd adventure! Now all inclusive, lots of alcohol to go around. NOTE: All Inclusive Does not include bottled water. Bring your own water bottle with you. Any bar will provide you with a glass of ice water to fill it yourself. Otherwise large and small bottles for purchase, and they are in cabin to buy as well.
NOTE: Booked Guarantee Oceanview and assigned Deck 6A Forward. NO ELEVATOR ACCESS TO CABIN - Only access via 15 stairs down from Deck 7 forward elevators. If you have issues with stairs, use a walker/wheelchair, have child in stroller, or plan on carrying your luggage on and off, you are pretty much on your own.
EXPECTATIONS: Small ship so everything is smaller in stature compared to larger ships-gym, dining room, spa, etc. Expect to be shoulder to shoulder in pool and hot tubs especially on sea days. Plenty of showers on pool deck to cool off. Hang out on promenade deck if you want a shady quite place.
CABIN: Room steward excellent and took care every need. Cabin above thrusters so expect to get awakened by the noise when arriving and departing port. At least 30 minutes of loud noise. Otherwise very quiet. Cabin small but OK for 2. VERY TIGHT FIT for 3 but doable if you are organized. Luggage storage could be an issue for 29" suitcase - may not fit under bed and closet is small. Wheeled carry-on fit under bed no problem. 3rd bed is fold out love seat - and appeared short (we did unfold it.) Also - you have to climb over it to use bathroom. Bathroom storage space is small so bring an over the door shoe holder to store toiletries and odds and ends ($6 at Walmart). Walls are metal so bring a few strong magnetic clips to hold the daily news and any other papers as well as heavy duty 20 lb or better magnets ($4 at Home Depot) to hold beach bag hats, etc., for a tidy organized room. Drawer storage is minimal so bring spare hangers with you - you will run out of provided hangers. Bring a power strip - there is only one outlet.
