Having taken many cruises the vista appeals to us as a new ship with many eating venues, entertainment spots and things to do on board. We travelled as a group of 4, two couples.

We embarked in Piraeus after an overnight stay (booked separately). The check in process was smooth enough, however they have a strange embarkation process whereby once checked in one must wait for a number to be called then all the people with that number embark at the same time. This caused queues on the gangway.

The overall first impression of the ship was very nice. Not the wow factor but definitely "this is nice". As we had had a substantial breakfast we were in no hurry to find food so spent some time finding our way round the ship. It is quite easy actually as if you were to lose direction just head for decks 5 or 10 and you will soon get your bearings.
