My Parents are platinum Customers and organised a Family cruise for us all. My first experience, and that of other Family Members also. Where do I start, it felt to me that once we had paid then interest in us dwindled rapidly. 50% refund given to us on all on the 1st port excursion (stupidly booked through Royal Caribbean) as guide had run out of time.....don't ask.....$12.99 per day for WIFI, you must have the full 14 days.....don't ask......overpriced goods in the handful of shops on the Royal Promade.....constantly harassed as soon as you walk by.....not good....$4.00 for a small bottle of water.....really, I mean really. I appreciate mark up costs....but that's just greedy. The In-House television is full of 'Buy now, this once in a lifetime rock bottom price, buy it or miss it' programmes.....don't rent a film it costs $10,99 a film! We made the cruise as a Family memory making holiday. The saving grace of this cruise was the 'Behind the scenes' Staff. The food was fresh, loving made by the amazing Chefs onBoard, and we all dined 12 nights out of 14. The table Staff Benefito and Ikadek were professional, attentive and made our experience complete. I am anaphylactic and each night I was given the following days menu to select what I wanted to eat, to ensure that the food I had chosen was not prepared near my allergy. Thank you guys. Would I cruise again, probably not, but it was a Family making memories holiday. I felt that once we were in the middle of the ocean we were stuck in paying the extremely over-priced items.....water.
Keep very clean by an attentive steward.
Hired mini bus at the port. Fantastic informative driver. Saving grace for dire Gibraltar.
Hopped onto the scenic train. Family thoroughly enjoyed it.
Hired a taxi which was at the port....a lot cheaper, and head into the city centre for shopping.....as you do....
Again, grabbed a taxi just outside the port.....much cheaper!
