Chose this cruise to see Crete and the palace of Knossos ...cruise was excellent...weather was exceptional...rained only on one day. We had a queen suite which was beautiful..very well appointed...with lots of space ....it faced aft...so each night we had a lovely view of our sail away . The food and ambiance in the queens grill was excellent as well ...many selections to enjoy in all categories...from appetizer to dessert...each paired with great wine choices selected by our sommelier. Our waiter and his assistant were top shelf..knew our wants and likes very quickly and were very accommodating . We enjoyed spending quality time with our new friends in the Commodore Club...the wait staff there knew us and our drinks were served very quickly. Our cabin was serviced by our butler and his assistant. They made it a truly memorable experience! We were highly surprised to see many young people on our ship celebrating the holiday with their parents...all were well behaved but I'm sure would have been happier on a ship with a climbing wall or surf pool! Cunard did provide some entertainment and activities for them.. This was our second grills experience and certainly won't be our last!! Having traveled with Cunard for the last 11 years ..this was our 17th voyage with them...we have decided it will be Grills from now on!! With regard to our port of calls...we spent a few days in Rome before getting onto the ship...only complaint on excursions was lack of earphone by the tour companies...often times unable to hear the guides in many locations...our stop in Albania instead of Kusadasi Was short lived...there were many beggars along the road and beach area....those who did tours seemed ok with them but if you just walked off the ship..not so great!

Queens Suite

Cabin Q6

Beautiful..lots of space...bathroom had separate massage tub and shower in a area apart from sink and toilet.....lots of closet and drawer space...huge balcony...was a walk to get to the elevator to the grill dining room..mid ship ...but the room was worth the extra steps!!! Room was well serviced by butler and his assistant.
