  • Cabin Type: Balcony Stateroom

This was our first ever cruise and I have to say I was very apprehensive but we were very impressed. Everything ran very smoothly. The staff, especially the cabin boy and waiter were excellent. Will definitely consider using MSC again. The only slight down side for us was the fact that there were a lot of children and they could be noisy late at night. Our cabin was as good as any quality hotel we have been to. The shower room was a bit small though, our balcony was fabulous too, an added bonus for us. The food in the restaurant was also very good with plenty of choice. We didn't use the 24 restaurant much, only for a late lunch or maybe tea and cakes but we always sat at the far end of the restaurant away from the noise. I think cruising will be our thing from now on. I would definitely recommend to anyone who has never tried it to give it a go.
