We did the cruise & land package a couple of years ago so this time we decided on the 'abbreviated' cruise from Seattle with the chance of seeing Glacier Bay which was canceled last time. Embarkation & disembarkation went well. Food was OK for the most part, no premium restaurants. Restaurant service was acceptable. We got a balcony cabin, room was nice & our steward very pleasant.

The Pearl is a very big ship & it was packed making dining sometimes a challenge, that needs to be considered.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin BB

View was good, almost an aft cabin on starboard but more midship it seemed. Smoking from below decks or perhaps neighbors hit us in the face too much of the time that was annoying. Steward did great job cleaning, bed comfortable & amenities OK. Deck was quiet at night.

Port Reviews

Seattle

Seems crowded & confusing but you eventually get through the lines

Glacier Bay

Great scenery, beautiful mountains & glaciers
