The cruise was our first, and we were not sure what to expect. Whatever that was, it exceeded our expectations. The room was great, the staff very accommodating, and the food and drink simply outstanding. We made a number of new friends in an atmosphere that was far from pretentious. We enjoyed all of the excursions and did not feel we missed anything by not taking the optional excursions. The staff was excellent, especially in the dining areas and the lounge areas......we were impressed that they always seemed to know what we were looking to have. The weather was much warmer than we expected, so we needed to make some changes in the state room bedding which was done immediately upon our request. Housekeeping kept everything fresh, visiting the room at least twice each day. The reception desk was alway accommodating and helpful with a wide variety of questions from us "rookies." We fully appreciated that aspect.

All in all, a very memorable vacation for our family.
