Chose NCL Getaway as daughter gave us a deposit as gift & the itinerary sounded well rounded. We had an inside cabin on deck 5 aft and just 2 weeks before sailing I was checking the pricing & saw our cabin code price had gone down a lot, so I called NCL and was given a balcony cabin on deck 11 frwd. Talk about good luck! We also chose the free drink package & it was well worth it. The dining options were so many & the food was awfully good. Social activities were abundant and always something to do. All service personnel were friendly & smiling & offered to help whn needed. Last day at sea, I purchased 4 cruise deposits. As for the excursions, I booked 2: rum tasting in belize which turned out to be a bust as there were 40 in group & only got to taste 4 rums whn tour said at least 21 & tequila tasting in Cozumel that was fabulous, our guide Ricio was so informative. Looking to book Alaska for 2018 but too far out for any itineraries to show on NCL site. All in all, we had an awesome trip & spouse was pleasantly surprised with it all.
