My husband and had a great time on Allure! We stayed at the Embassy Suites the day before the cruise. Very convenient, shopping near by. Was able to pick up wine for cruise. Arrived at cruise port by 10:15 on Sunday. Stared to board at 11:15. Went straight to Windjammer for lunch before it got too crowded. Cabin was available at 1PM to drop off carry on.

Toured ship and made reservations for dinner at Giavanni's. Should have made them at home since all the good time slots were taken. We had my time dining. I had made my reservations from home, we chose 7PM every night. Glad we made them ahead of time. Never had to wait, we were seated right away. Those who just showed up would have a 15 or 20 minute wait.

Booked all the shows ahead of time. Glad we did, had no problem getting the show times we wanted. The shows were fantastic, especially Mama Mia and Blue Planet. Don't miss either. We also went to The Quest, Love & Marriage, Battle of the Sexes, and the 70's Disco Show. All were excellent. The ship is so beautiful! We loved walking the Royal Promenade and Central Park. Casino was good too. Won money first night, but ended up giving it all back by the end of the cruise.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D8

Very nice balcony cabin. Bed was by the balcony. We prefer that set up since you have more room to get in the closet. Room large enough, bed comfortable. We were starboard side so we faced the dock at all ports. I like to watch the people getting off and on the ship, so I prefer facing the dock.

Port Reviews

Cozumel

Playa Mia Beach & Water Park. Very good with lots of activities for the whole family. Small shops, food.

Falmouth

Red Stripe Beach. Very quiet and peaceful. Water was warm and calm. Also they had food if you wanted.

Labadee

Very nice beach, small market if you want to shop. Very nice barbecue provided by Allure.
