Embarkation was an unorganized mess of personnel with iPads standing all over the pier both inside and out. You were then instructed to sit with a mass of people regardless of boarding time or status (except suites and pinnacle of course)! Once the ship was open people cut into line and were oblivious to instructions. The highlight was that our luggage beat us to our room and was there by 1pm! We had Classic Dynamic Dining and our first and last nights were "formal" or jacket required for the men. Jackets were provided at the entrance to the dining room but the rule was not enforced. We had no advance notice on our dining room schedule! Dining was in four different dining rooms rotating every day, our wait staff came with us and our table was in the same place in each venue. Food was above average for the first half of the trip.....
The ship has many small lounges and many bottlenecks when trying to navigate forward to aft. Elevators were slow and you often got on to ride down even if you were going up or vice versa. People were rude and would not allow you to get off an elevator before pushing to get on. Our balcony room was lovely and our stateroom attendant efficient, though invisible. The Diamond lounge is way too small for the number of members on board and often overflowed into an adjacent lounge. Once again at disembarkation people did not follow instructions and made for a crowed nightmare. When ships staff was asked, they said they couldn't (my impression wouldn't) do anything about it! Bottom line rules were meant to be broken. One and done is what our party of six has decided.
Nicely appointed, felt like an oasis away from chaos.
