Because of the price and the itinerary and a last minute booking. Enjoyed the cruise overall but not happy with the RIP OFF charges for things like shore excursions and shuttle busses plus the drink prices are a total rip off. Over $6 for a can of Boddingtons and $2.30 for diat coke, prices include the 15% gratutity which they sy is added for MY convenience.

Overall we enjoyed our cruise, interesting ports of call 3 of which were first visits. We liked the lay out of the ship and the fact that many of the entertainment were all on the same deck. We would rate the food in the dining room at 7/10 however the would only rate the Horizon Court at 3/10 very disappointed with the standard at lunchtime, breakfast was ok but not very hot. I would however rate the staff in the Horizon Court 10/10 always helpful and friendly. This was our first cruise with Princess, although we had booked another for next March on Star Princess so hope for a better experience. Having done more than 80 cruises this is the first time We have felt the need express our disappointment.
