The cruise was very smooth and well operated from the on boarding to the debarkation. The new "choose you time" for on boarding must be working as it was the fastest we have ever gotten on a ship from the time we walked into the terminal. The crew was well trained and there were very few "start up" issues. The food selections in the Lido restaurant were limited however all of the upscale restaurants were extremely good. The Capitano and Fahrenheit were exceptional. The Spa and Casino staff were awesome. The only are where we see Carnival making an improvement is with the elevators. The ship has a very large passenger capacity and they quite simply don't seem to have enough elevators to handle the load in a timely fashion. We would have loved to have ported in Turkey but completely understand the reasoning behind changing the itinerary.

We will likely do this cruise again when the Horizon launches next year.
