Liked the Emerald last time. This time very mediocre entertainment, definitely need more outside acts . Too much emphasis on trivia and silly game shows. Cabin was excellent with good service. Horizon buffet very tasty as was food from the outside grill. Very stingy on giving out prizes even refusing to give anything on several occasions. Entertainment team too female orientated with only one male, Nando. Charges for the port transfers were quite steep. Even charged for a port transfer where it was not feasible to attempt on foot. Drink prices way too high. On sea days it was rather boring as most activities were geared towards making money with art auctions, spa and boutique sales taking place most of the day. Weather was very good but swimming pools were quite cold. There was a distinct lack of hygiene in the buffet area with very little policing of people using the hand gell.
