Been on a Thomson cruise before and thoroughly enjoyed it so thought I would try the majesty. The ship is its self is clean and kept extremely tidy by the crew but the food is of poor quality. We travelled as an adult family which made it difficult to find something to eat every night. The food was either luke warm or cold, service was slow and became iratating because of the long waits experienced. If you used the self service restaurant that was even worse for luke warm food or stone cold. Couldn't wait to dock so that we could have a decent hot meal.

We had a balcony suite which was well worth paying the extra for. It was spacious and comfy. The mini bar was rather expensive if you used it. The cabin staff looked after us very well and ensured everything was as it should be every day. It was great being on your balcony when entering and exiting ports of call.

There were a lot of children on the ship and there was no adult only bars and restaurants; the jacuzzi's should have been adult only but the kids were always in it. Deck 10 the pool area was very cluttered with table and chairs which there wasn't enough for everyone to use. Deck 7 and11 the sunbed decks, you had to get up extremely early to get a sunbed despite notices every where saying; do not reserve beds, but it didn't stop anyone doing it.
