Our travel agent suggested this cruise/cruise-line and since we had never cruised with Celebrity previously, I did my research (read: checked out Cruise Critic) and was very happy with the reviews I read. My guess was that they read 95% good or better, so that convinced me to book the trip. This was to be our 6th cruise and all previous cruises had each been with a different line.

We were not disappointed with our decision, and I found it hard to find any major concerns/criticisms/faults with the ship/cruise.

I knew we were off to a great start when we were met at Rome airport by the friendly Celebrity staff, who suggested we wait in a coffee shop until the bus was ready. As promised they came and collected us at the appointed time and we were escorted on to the bus and travelled, with commentary, to the port.
