This was our 1st cruise ever and we chose Norwegian due to the freestyle dining and the "free at sea" promotion. The ship had an elegant décor and was easy to get around on. We had only 2 shore excursions planned and the were well organized. Each day there were multiple activities available at various venues on the ship. We chose to spend a fair amount of time playing video poker and found the machines to be looser than we were expecting so our money lasted longer. The staff was great no mater where we were on the ship, especially the bartenders. Although small, our cabin was well organized and very comfortable and quiet. The small balcony was just large enough for the 2 of us to enjoy the evening air. We ate at 6 different venues, only one - Illusionarium - had an additional charge. The food was better than what you would prepare for yourself at home. The 24 hour buffet provided many options. The Broadway shows were great and there were many other complimentary shows and activities.
For us, the jury is still out as to whether this was better than a Vegas resort vacation but was enjoyable enough we will take more cruises and they will most likely be with Norwegian
Very clean, comfortable and quiet. Small bathroom was laid out so that it did not feel small. Beds were pushed together for what seemed like a King bed - could not feel the "seam" between the 2 beds. Everything worked well and looked brand new. Small balcony was adequate to enjoy the outdoors. Coffee was tasty. Our cabin a center ship was considered an upgrade but I would choose one closer to the elevators on any future cruise.
