I chose this initially because it was the only ship sailing at the time we were able to travel. MSC Divina is a fabulous ship. The staff were amazing and couldn't do enough for us. The food was first class and the ship was so clean with incredible attention to detail. Had a spacious cabin at the back with a balcony. Embarkation was very smooth and took no time at all. Same for getting off. Ports travelled were a bit too commercial for me and excursions, although very well organised, were expensive and not very good. More time taken getting to and from them than at the venue. Lots of unmentioned stops at various tourist shops/cigar factories/rum tasting etc which we did not want. Would rather have had another hour on the beach. Evening entertainment was very good with lots to do all day and evening. Buffet food very good indeed and restaurants and their staff excellent. The only down side was that the photos taken onboard were very expensive and the staff at that section not quite so friendly. Better to take your own or get a friendly fellow passenger to take some of you on your own camera. Embarkation photo was the biggest con of them all so beware of that. This was our first cruise and should we decide to do another we would certainly travel with MSC again. We highly recommend them and the MSC Divina.
Lovely cabin at the back of the ship. Plenty of space and good facilities. Cleaned twice a day. Lovely cabin staff. No complaints.
This was our embarkation port
Too commercial. Store vendors almost pulling us in to shops. Hated that so got back on boat.
