What made this cruise worthwhile (and saved me from giving it a "Poor" rating) was the time I spent in the departure city and the excursions we took in each port.

First, Barcelona is absolutely beautiful. We arrived a day before departure and tried to see as many sights as possible. Such a lovely, clean city - and everyone was super helpful and friendly to us non- Spanish speaking Americans. Would definitely return and spend more time there.

As I stated above, the excursions we took in Italy and France were amazing and well paced. In most instances, we booked a short guided tour with several hours of free time for us to explore on our own. Perfect to get an overview of the cities and then allow for time to dig into 1-2 sights that really interested us.

Balcony

Seems space could be better utilized. Beds too close together, linens have seen better days, separate shower and toilet made each seem much smaller - also didn't afford much privacy.

Port Reviews

Barcelona

Arrived a day early to see the sights on our own. Beautiful, clean city. Friendly locals. Easy to get around. Will definitely go back.

Naples

Enjoyed eating pizza in Naples and spending a little time in Sorrento.

Rome (Civitavecchia)

Excursion started out wonderfully, but inclement weather caused us to reevaluate our plan. Still saw the Colosseum though and had a great time
