We had a great time. This was our first NCL cruise. Loved the thermal suite in the spa - best decision of the cruise!
The only thing that disappointed us was the service on this ship. It wasn't bad; it just wasn't personable. For instance, room stewards do not introduce themselves (not just ours - confirmed with other passengers.) We ate in Taste 5 out of 7 nights and never had the same server twice. Bar service was quick and sometimes with a smile. We liked the Prime Meridian bar next to Cagney's for the most friendly service. O'Sheehan's bar (and food) were both good too.
Flamingo grill (free) was closed for our cruise while they convert it to Margaritaville (pay). Only quick service food was buffet. Food at O'Sheehans came pretty fast usually, but if you were in a hurry, I wouldn't count on it. Food in the MDR was good , but we weren't blown away by anything. We paid (very reasonable) for sushi one night at Wasabi and that was our favorite dinner. Service in the Tropicana Room (nearly 2 hours) was MUCH slower than in Taste (usually 1 hour).
This room was nice. It was a little closer to the aft elevators than the forward, but it was easy to go either way. We would have liked to be closer to a bar, but when staying on the 13th floor... you're going to have to either go up 2 (when they are open) or down 5 otherwise. Because this is a "family" area, most of the rooms were being used with 3 or 4 beds so lots of little ones waking up much earlier than us in the morning was noisy when we tried to sleep in. 13625 does have 1 pull down bed. There is no small couch area or anything so this room is pretty tiny compared to some other insides we have stayed in (to compare to RCCL - much smaller than freedom class insides). The room did look really nice, and we thought the bathroom was bigger than every ship we've ever been on. Water pressure is no good, but the bathroom had tons of storage. Caroline was our room attendant, but we never really met her. Our friends who had an aft balcony never met their attendant either.
