We specifically chose this cruise because of the Itinerary. However over the two weeks on board we had 8 changes to the Itinerary. We understand that safety is important but perhaps cruise organisers need to have alternatives in place that equal the original destinations. Sarande in Albania was a total waste and overall we ended up with an extra sea day - this is wrong.

The ship is beautiful, well appointed and elegant. Stateroom s were fine but plenty of storage under the beds as well as the cupboards but lacking drawers. Balcony great. Meals great. Most service good but bar staff could not pour a beer.

Some people like the formal attire but when you are doing other travel as well the extra luggage is a pain. Basically there seems to be no real purpose for the formal wear but this is a personal matter of opinion.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin was fine. Very similar to other cruise lines. Could do with more drawers, plenty of hanging space and storage for cases.

Bathroom obviously small but adequate with good quality toiletries.

Balcony was nice and maid opened gates between our cabin and friends.

Port Reviews

Athens (Piraeus)

Taxis a nightmare so took the HOHO bus. Not perfect. Loved the Parthenon but need to be aware it is difficult to walk around
