I was with a group of 22 men and women, but it was made up of several smaller groups. This was our(3 women) 25th annual girls trip, first time cruisers and we shared a balcony stateroom. We had enough room but I would not suggest more than 3 adults. Most of us arrived the day before embarkation and stayed in Kenner, LA (20 mins. from NOLA). Embarkation was very easy due to 1 of us needing a wheelchair. Carnival staff was very accommodating with her disability and we were able to enter the ship quickly.

Our steward was Muhammad, he was so helpful and knew the answer to all of our questions and concerns. He gave us information on how to acquire the services we desired; lots of ice everyday, lots of linen and directions. Muhammad was great!!!

Guy's Burger, Blue Iguana, Chopsticks and the 24 hr. pizza were very good everyday. The Brunch was very special to us, we loved it, lots of choices. The Buffet was full of food choices that were good and satisfying. The Main Dinning area was ok, our waiters are what kept me going back Tiger, Marcel and I Gadea were excellent and so attentive to our group of 22. We absolutely enjoyed them, they could sing, dance and their humor was on point. To be honest sometimes the appetizers were all that I ate in the Main Dinning room. There is so much to see and do on the ship we only saw about half of the ship. Shops, shows, classes, casino, meeting people, dancing, singing, laughing, excursions, Cozumel, we enjoyed ourselves.

Our view was great and the sun rise was beautiful and the sunset was incredible. 3 adults are a max for us and I slept on the couch and was comfortable. I was offered a roll away bed but it took up too much room. There is no place to store it other than under another bed and that was annoying. The couch was just fine and Muhammad made it for me.

Port Reviews

New Orleans

very busy

Cozumel

Lots to see and purchase shop wisely and enjoy. It was very hot and humid that day.

Progreso

lots of bargains if you know how to haggle, very poor area when you get off of the bus. A little outside of town is a much better area with 3 lane hwys but very few English speaking people
