Before i start this review i must say this was our fourth cruise with thomsons, second on the dream and i am by no means a serial moaner. I would like to start by saying how much i think cruising has changed over the last few years.

The orion restaurant, the food is still very nice, but you do tend to wait a bit longer for it. Thomsons have definitely cut down on the amount of waiters, they are overworked and now have too many tables to serve compared to years gone by. Wine waiters, most of them work very hard but also have a lot more people to try and keep glasses filled. If by any chance you get sasa as your wine waiter you will go thirsty, our food waiter started filling our glasses in the end.

Supplements, supplements, supplements. Thomsons you should be ashamed of yourselves, the amount of drinks taken off the all inclusive is scandalous. My wife is a vodka red bull drinker, two years ago it was a £1.10 supplement, this year it was £2.15, and if you are not on the all inc it was £3.95 a can, come on have a look at yourself. People are paying £3500 for a two week cruise and you are still trying to fleece them. £2.00 supplement for a can of carling, are you having a laugh.£2.00 supp for guinness, half the cocktails have also got supplements. Not so 2 years ago.
